The Headless Soldier, a powerful triptych of short operas looked beneath the perfect lives of Helen, her husband, Thomas and their haunted son, Zach – finding a hidden, much closer war. A microcosm of love and fury, contradiction and joy, often through the lens of young Zachery, who has absorbed the world around him, warts and all, cartoons and bombings alike.

The Headless Soldier blended multi-media with live performance, international soloists and a chamber orchestra.
